Under the “Pozemky Veleň” project, an above-standard residential area of 72 building plots for family houses was created in the village of Veleň between 2014 and 2017, with full infrastructure including a park and a playground.
Veleň lies directly next to Prague, so the metro and the shopping centres in Letňany or Čakovice are five to ten minutes' drive away. The village has solid amenities including a nursery and a primary school and is connected to Prague public transport.
The “Podháj” site, named after the adjacent pond, is a complete project that will end as a villa quarter of 72 plots for detached family houses with street greenery, surrounded by a playground, a park and the unique natural area along the Mratínský brook with its pond, meadows and woodland, joining naturally onto the existing village.
The site has every utility — electricity, gas, water, sewerage, paving, bays for recycling containers, street lighting, fibre-optic cabling for high-speed internet and trees planted along the streets.
Because the project was developed in close cooperation with the municipality from the very start, it also includes a park of more than a hectare with a playground.
